Its Race day and the teams are setting up the cars for the 4 hours of hard driving. This endurance racing and the cars are pushed hard up and down the Laguna Raceway. Speeds up to 140+ MPH is reached and then brought down for the Andretti corner at the end of the straight. This done over and over with 3 drivers changing places throughout the 4 hour run, in which the cars can cover 350 to 400 miles. Bent body panels and off-road excursion add to the high speed day. A driver knocks something off, the pit crew jumps over the wall puts it back on and the race is back on chasing the cars which have passed.

Tha's the plan, anyway. we will see when the race starts in a few hours.
