Goodwood was an airfield during the war. This chap is making reference to it. This writer is not familiar with the uniform however.

At the beginning ot automobile racing, the overall settings were much more down to earth with basic surroundings

The 45min Whitsun Trophy race run exclusively for Ford's GT40 sports-prototype was won by the team of Red Bull designer Adrian Newey and former Indy 500 winner Kenny Brack
