Designed by Hanns Trippel and manufactured at Lübeck by the Quandt Group and also at Berlin-Borsigwalde Germany. Powered a 1147 cc (69 cubic inches) engine from the British Triumph Herald 1200. Performance: Speeds of 7 knots in the water and 70 mph (110 km/h) on land hence the model number 770 (7 - 70). Production started in 1961, ran from 1963 to 1965
