The first United States Vintage Racing National Championship featuring approximately 500 vintage race cars, ran in 12 classes with a national champion crowned in each class at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The host was Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA)
Entries included:
1953 Maserati 250F Formula 1 car, s/n 2501, ex-Stirling Moss and Juan Manuel Fangio, raced in a total of 40 Formula 1 Grands Prix
1963 Z06 Corvette, s/n 30837S120678 1st generation Z06-optioned Corvette.
1974 Eagle Formula 5000, s/n 755-001 was built by American Dan Gurney's All-American Racers; F1 driver James Hunt drove the car to 2nd place in its initial outing at the F5000 event at Laguna Seca.
1990 Chevrolet Intrepid RM-1 IMSA GTP, s/n 64/65 scored a victory at the 1991 New Orleans Grand Prix in the IMSA Camel GT series.
