Jerod O. Shelby founder of the American supercar automobile manufacturer SSC started in1999 in Tri-Cities, Washingto, with the goal of creating a world class automotive manufacturing company. Seven years of development culminated in 2007 with the production of the Ultimate Aero. Their second SSC model the Tuatara was presented at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
