Record number of visitors at InterClassics Maastricht MAASTRICHT, 17 January 2016 - With 29.660visitors, InterClassics Maastricht has broken a new record. This past weekend, MECC Maastricht organised the 23rd edition of this exhibition that has earned a position among the top international classic-car events such as those held in Essen, Paris, Padua and Stuttgart.

Buyers, enthusiasts and day-trippers travelled from all over the Netherlands and abroad just to admire the collection of classic cars, spare parts and 'automobilia' on display in Maastricht. Director of InterClassics, Erik Panis is proud of the results: "We try to innovate every year and improve the quality of the exhibition."

Both the exhibitors and visitors have expressed their appreciation for our efforts, and now the numbers also prove it was a huge success. This gives us energy and inspiration for the coming year. The success of InterClassics Not only did the general public turn out in great numbers at MECC Maastricht. With exhibition floor space of 35,000 m2, InterClassics Maastricht was sold out for exhibitors three months before the event.

Many cars also changed owners over the last few days, another important criterion determining the success of the classic-car-trade exhibition. Featuring the 70th anniversary of Ferrari as the main theme, InterClassics Maastricht 2017 will be held from Thursday, 12 through Sunday, 15 January 2017 at MECC Maastricht.
