Harry C. Stutz left Stutz in 1919 and founded the H.C.S. Motor Car Company. The H.C.S. was designed to be a moderate-sized, quality car with features of more expensive models. This model is a rakish phaeton with step plates instead of running boards. H.C. S. closed in 1926.
