Bill Sadler designed, built and race Formula Junior race cars in Canada in the late 1950 and 1960's using, for the time, a modern technique called stressed skin or monocoque construction using aluminum. Bill built 12 F-J cars. Around 2012 Bill discovered one of the F-J cars he built that was raced by Brock Yates back in 1960. After securing the car Bill set about to restore the car back to the original form in which he made it.
Sadler is credited with developing the first mid-engine V8-powered racing car of the type that went on to compete in the Can-Am series.
