One of the greatest racing drivers that ever lived - Juan Manuel Fangio had a tribute to him noting the centenary of his birth and 60th anniversary of his winning the first of his five World Championships.
Fangio's best result at Goodwood was a second in the challenging BRM V16 P15 on 26 September 1953, which will be just one of over 25 of the most famous cars that Fangio drove, that are scheduled to be available at this years event.
Also available were two of his earliest racing cars which was shipped over specifically for the Revival from the Fundacion Museo Fangio in Argentina; his famous 1939 Chevrolet Coupe TC and the 1947 Volpi Chevrolet 'La Petisa.'
Other significant cars as part of this tribute included the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR and W196s, Fangio's Alfa Romeo Tipo 158/9 'Alfetta', Ferrari 860 Monza, Gordini Type 15s and 16, Maserati 250F, 300S and 450S.
