Every now and again there is a 'New' Formula created for open wheel cars. The top of the class in racing is Formula 1, and is limited to only the most competent organizations with huge budgets. With multi Million dollar cars and 200 MPH + speeds the drivers are only the best in the world.

Keeping a supply of new drivers and teams requires a starting point where drivers and support teams can learn their skills within reasonable costs and risks. In the past there has been Formula 2, Formula 3, Formula Ford, Formula V, Formula Super V, and many others. Now there is Formula Predator.

Formula Predator is designed as a low-budget international competition that will take place in some of the most famous racing circuits, Monza, Imola, Brno, Varano, Valellunga, Grobnik near Rijeka. The Predator Corrado Cusi is equipped with a Honda Hornet, 4-cylinder, 600 cc, 100 hp, motorcycle engine and a sequential six speed transmission, with gear shift controls on the steering. Braking is also possible with the left and right foot. Tires should last three races.

Serbian drivers, Vladan Slavković and Nenad Arsenijević will be competing in Formula Predator in the Trofeo Italia (www.predators.it) series.

Vladan Slavković (1956) was Yugoslavian chanpion in 1980 Formula Super V driving a formula Lola T620. Now he works in NAVAK-in (National Driving Academy), as head coach. This allows him to drive some of the fastest sports cars of today like the McLaren 12C, but his best impression was driving a Nissan 370Z with a V6 engine, 3696 cc, about 370 hp, when the Nissan GT Academy was on the NAVAK track.

Nenad Arsenijević (1976) is a long-time competitor who competed in the Championship of Serbia in Yugo-class hybrid driving a Yugo 55.

Next race is this weekend at the track Grobnik near Rijeka. Also announced a race for Formula Predator in Serbia on the NAVAK track.

Vladan Slavković and Nenad Arsenijević will drive for Team Serbia. Formula Predator will rent one to ride on Saturday and the other Sunday, in order to minimize the cost.

Vladan Slavković (1956) je bio šamion Jugoslavije 1980. u formuli Super VW za upravlječem formule Lola T620. Sada je zaposlen u NAVAK-u (Nacionalna Vozačka Akademija), kao glavni trener. To mu je omogućilo da vozi neke od najbržih sportskih automobila danas, McLaren 12C, ali je na njega najbolji utisak ostavila vožnja automobila Nissan 370Z Nismo, V6 motor, 3.696 ccm, oko 370 ks, kad je Nissan GT Academy gostovala na stazi NAVAK.

Nenad Arsenijević(1976) je dugogodišnji takmičar koji se u šampionatu Srbije takmičio u klasi Yugo hibrid za upravljačem automobila Yugo 55. Do kontakta sa formulom Predator došao je nezavisno od Vladana Slavković, na stazi Imola, na trci koja je vožena na 20-to godišnjicu pogibije Ayertona Senne.

Formula Predator je zamišljena kao internacionalno niskobudžetno takmičenje koje se vozi na nekim od najpoznatijih trkačkih pista, Monza, Imola, Brno, Varano, Valellunga, Grobnik kod Rijeke. Konstruktor formule Predator je Corrado Cusi. Opremljena je motorom sa motocikla Honda Hornet, 4 cilindra, zapremina 600 ccm, snaga oko 100 ks, sekvencijalni menjač sa 6 stepeni prenosa, menjanje brzina komandama na upravljaču, kočenje je moguće i levom i desnom nogom. Trenutno se vozi III evolucija. Gume traju tri trke.

Formula Predator 2014

Vladan Slavković i Nenad Arsenijević će voziti za Team Serbia. Formulu Predator će iznajmljivati i jedan će voziti u subotu, a drugi u nedelju, kako bi maksimalno smanjili troškove. Sledeća trka je ovog vikenda na stazi Grobnik kod Rijeke.

Najavljene su i trke formule Predator u Srbiji, na stazi NAVAK.
