Karijera Dušana Duce Borkovića je išla jednom konstantnom uzlaznom putanjom. Sada, nakon objavljivanja da 2014. godine ulazi u WTCC (FIA Word Touring Car Cahampionship), najprestičnije takmičenje touring automobila na svetu, ona je na vrhuncu.

Automobil SEAT Leon TFSI 2,0, klasa S2000, kupljen u Danskoj, šasija SEAT Sport XWT 027, sa motorom rađenim u poznatoj francuskoj firmi Oreca, uskoro kreće put španije, kod matične kuće SEAT Sport, gde će biti promenjen prednji vezni lim, ugrađen motor 1,6 turbo, odgovarajući menjač, nove kočnice,...

SEAT Sport je uradi 30 šasija za ovakvih šasija, ova je jedna od poslednjih, to je razlog zašto je odlučeno da ova šasija bude korišćena sledeće godine u WTCC-u.

Očekuje se da automobil bude gotov u januaru ili februaru da bi ga u februaru ili martu Duca Borković isprobao na stazi u Barceloni.

Ovim automobilom Dušan Borković je pobedio na prvoj trci u Salzburgu, vočenoj 19. maja u okviru treće trke ETCC-a.

Uzgred, brod sa automobilima koji su učestvovali na poslednjoj ovogodišnjoj trci WTCC-a u Makau stiše u luku u Evropi tek u januaru.

Automobil SEAT Leon TFSI 2,0, klasa S2000, kupljen u Hrvatskoj, šasija SEAT Sport XWT 001, sa motorom rađenim u firmi Lehman Motoren Technik AG iz Lihtenštajna, novija evolucija u odnosu na motor u šasiji 027, biće korišćen na nekim Evropskim trkama na kojima će Dušan Borković pred trku voziti predstavnike medija.

Ovim automobilom Dušan Borković je počeo ovogodišnju sezonu u FIA ETCC-u, ali je imao tečak karambol na prvoj trci u Slovačkoj, vočenoj 28. aprila u okviru druge trke ETCC-a.

Za sada Duca Borković još nije odlučio šta će biti sa automobilom Chevrolet Cruze LT 2,0, urađen u firmi RML Group iz Velike Britanije, koji je vozio na kraju sezone.

Nakon osvajanja trećeg mesta u ovogodišnjem ETCC-u (FIA European Tourin Car Cup) u klasi S2000 nestali su motivi Dušana Borkovića za ovo takmičenje. Trebalo je krenuti dalje. Odluku da uđe u WTCC je doneo zajedno sa svojim timom.

U sezoni 2014. voziće za NIS Petrol Racing Team, uz podršku SEAT Sport-a i Campos Racing Team-a.

Duca je realan, kako kače, daće sve od sebe sledeće godine, ali to je godina kada će učiti, novi automobil, nove staze, novi šampionat,... Drago mu je što će se naći pored Sebasiana Loeba, po Duci najkompletnijeg vozača današnjice, i Yvana Mullera, najboljeg touring car vozača današnjice.

Doduše, Loeb i Muller će voziti Citroen C-Elysee i takmičiti se u klasi TC1, dok će se Duca Borković Takmičiti u klasi TC2 za Yokohama Independents Trophy.

Bilo koje mesto da osvoji, biće zadovoljen jer se takmiči sa najboljim. Već 2015. čeli da bude konkurentan i da ide na najviši plasman.

Pomenuta je suma od najmanje 700.000 eura za jednu sezonu u WTCC-u, bez troškova eventualnih karambola.

Ducin glavni sponzor je, naravno, NIS. Ali, da bi se zatvorila takozvana finansijska konstrukcija ovom poduhvatu će se pridručiti još neke kompanije sa kojima su finalni dogovori u toku. Za sada, Duca nije čeleo da otkrije o kojim kompanijama je reč.

Kako je 2014. poslednja sezona Yokohama Independents Trophy-a troškovi za 2015. će još porasti. Dušan Borković se nada da će potencijalni sponori prepoznati značaj njegovog učešća u WTCC-u.

Dušan Duce Borkovića career is constantly improving.

His car a SEAT Leon 2.0 TDI, Class S2000 was bought in Denmark, The SEAT Sport chassis XWT 027, with the engine developed by the famous French company Oreca, the parent company of SEAT Sport, will soon leave for Spain. SEAT Sport is to do 30 of these chassis, this is one of the last, and this chassis will be used next year in the WTCC. It is expected that the car is ready in January or February to be available for Dušan's testing on the track in Barcelona this February or March.

This is the car Dušan Borković won the first race in the Salzburg race held 19th May, in the third race ETCC. By the way, the boat with the cars that took part in last year's WTCC race in Macau STIs in was in the harbor in Europe last January.

The SEAT Leon 2.0 TDI, Class S2000, bought in Croatia, SEAT Sport chassis XWT 001, with engine developed by the company Lehman Motoren Technik AG of Liechtenstein, is a recent evolution of the engine in the chassis 027. It will be used in some European races where Dušan Borković will use it to drive the media around before the race. This is the car Dušan Borković started this year's season in the FIA ETCC , but where he had an accident in the first race in Slovakia, on 28 April in the second race ETCC's.

After winning third place in this year's ETCC 's ( FIA European Tourin Car Cup) in Class S2000 his team decided to enter the WTCC. In 2014, Dušan will drive for the NIS Petrol Racing Team, with support from SEAT Sport and the Campos Racing Team.

Dušan is realistic, he says, he will give all of myself next year, but this is the year when they will be learning, new cars, new tracks, new titles,... He's happy to be near Sebasiana Loeb, at Ducie as he is the most complete driver today, and Yvan Muller, as they are the best touring car drivers today. However, Loeb and Muller will drive a Citroen C- Elysee and compete in class TC1, while Dušan will compete in the class TC2 for Yokohama Independents Trophy. Any wins will be satisfying as we are competing with the best. Already we are looking at 2015 and want to be competitive for the highest position.

The cost for one season in the WTCC, is at least 700,000 euros, without the cost of possible car damages. Dušan's main sponsor is NIS, but additional financial contributions by other companies are in the final agreements. However for now, Dušan did not want to reveal the names of the companies involved.

As was last years 2014 season's Yokohama Independents Trophy; expenses for 2015 are expected to increase. However Dušan hopes that potential sponsors will recognize the value of his having previously participated in the WTCC.
