Called The largest automobile Garden Party - the Classic and Motor Festival held at Schloss Dyck and Conservation of Palace and Park.

The classic days at Schloss Dyck in Düsseldorf/Neuss held since 2006 - since 2008 Concours d is occupied becoming increasingly international and high-quality d'Elegance "Jewels in the Park" after intense selection. From 1st to 3rd August 2014 were to see the best of the best on the peninsula of the Orangery.
In six years, in which the selection Committee of the "jewels" was always stricter and stricter, intensified contacts with international collectors and FIVA-top category "A" for the Concours at Schloss Dyck was acquired, the "jewels in the Park" have become European top Concours.
In the year 2014 it seems convincingly so, arrived the "jewels in the Park" in the circles of collectors and Connoisseure, who had brought unique items from around the world last weekend after Dyck.
With strictest FIVA Passport compulsory and only after acceptance by the check-in Commissioners of the organizer and the present official FIVA steward Valentin Zbynovsky the vehicles were recorded of the castle on Friday, August 1, 2014, on the peninsula of the Orangery in the dance of the competition participants.
In the attendees field Coachbuilding highlights were presented by collectors from the United States, England, France, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Lithuania and Italy. The "jewels in the Park" have the focus has long been on the special "unique ones", the "one offs" and thus on the "haute couture" of the body - builder and designer of the years 1920 to 1965.
The vehicles in classes with sonorous names, who wrote the story and the automobile environment of the classic and era in pictorial language were assessed:
Famous Elegancy, travelling the continent, noble dreams, flamboyant years, extraordinary for representation, nobility & design, beneath the sky, coupes of class, amazing concept and styles, open roads with style, Italy Grand Class and sports car icons were the rating categories, which were each up to six vehicles to the evaluation of the jury.
Among the 56 participants, highlights of the Coachbuildings found themselves with well-known designers and body engineering name:

From the collection of Peter Mullin from California provided the Delahaye 135 M with a torpedo body by Figoni & Falaschi as absolute "one-off"-Exemplar against the backdrop of the Castle seen. As well which could ensure OM superba supercharged from the collection of Nicolis from Verona - presented by Silvia Nicolis - with its noble Castagna body for enthusiasm, immediately followed by the filigree Boulevard-sprinter, the Alfa Romeo 6 C GS 1750 with Aprile sheet dress from the collection of the Alfa Romeo-specialists Corrado Lopresto from Milan.
The quality density and the high demand for the jury to a conscientious review was so great that the 18-member jury under Chief honorary judge Ed Gilbertson from the United States had expanded the review on the Saturday afternoon in the event to get a comprehensive assessment, taking into account the respective vehicle history.
The "Jury Award" received the beautiful sporty Mercedes-Benz 380 K Special Roadster with Erdmann & Rossi body from January 1933. The expert audience on the Orangery parterre chose the audience prize of the "jewels in the Park" at the "Coupe Chopard" - the Mercedes-Benz 540 K Special Roadster from the year 1937.
As "Best of Show" by jury awarded eventually convertible, designed by Pinin Farina the Lancia Astura 4th in 1939, owned by a German collector.
A very worthy overall winner of the competition of elegance at the "Jewels in the park".

The event is in support to Schloss Dyck in their efforts to preserve the magical castle. Also this year the event is dedicated to the memory of one very famous racing driver of the golden age of auto racing, Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips, who had a fatal accident during Monza's Formula 1 World Championship race, September 10, 1961 was Germany's most successful grand prix driver until Michael Schumacher won the World Championship in 1994
Top of the sport drivers like Jacky Ickx; Hans-Joachim "Strietzel" Stuck and Klaus Niedzwiedz will pair off with cars like the Porsche 550 Spyder from 1955; Denzel Super Sport 1300 from 1957; Rallye Golf G60; Cup Scirocco (Scirocco 1); Scirocco GT24 - Nürburgring 24 hour race in 2014 and Audi V8 DTM of 1990

In a new area right by the castle will be the 51st state of the USA. There will be an Airstream with burgers, a music and rock-n-roll stage and a large drive-in cinema parking lot for at least 20 selected U.S. Cars from 1946 - 1965 with wait staff on roller skates and the bouncing petticoats of the period. Also part of the theme is the Californian sun with a Stars and Stripes banner and music playing from jukeboxes for rock-n-roll or boogie-woogie dance groups and on the grass picnics.
