The Americana International Festival 2012 was held at the County Showground, Winthorpe Nr. Newark, Nottinghamshire. Now in its 32nd year, it is a mega feast of American music, cars, motorbikes, trucks and RVs. The Americana show brings the best of the '50s thru '80s American lifestyle to the UK.

The intermittent torrential downpours failed to cancel the event and the indoor music hall made for safe a haven as did other indoor shows. A new format brought on a parade of American cars and motorcycles cruising along a set route within the showground where the cars were able to show off the great American V8 rumble.
